Arielwood Gold:  1994 buckskin stallion.  Gold is a proven sire of athletic, quick learning colts with the breeding and the minds to go on and do anything on the ranch or in the arena.

AQHA 3352795 - NFQHA F01506

Gold has 84% foundation blood, he is out of an own daughter of Orphan Drift.  His sire Strings Do was the 1981 high point cutting horse in the Center of the Nation.  Piggin String 2 finished fifth in the reining at the World Show, and also has a  ROM in reining and calf roping.  Arielwood Gold is a easy stallion to be around and never loses his respect for people.  He is passing this kind disposition on to his offspring.  Gold's pedigree has no holes... he carries the blood of King, Poco Bueno, Three Bars and the great Driftwood.

What is a Driftwood horse?

He's half a ton of poised and controlled energy, held on an easy rein and a hair trigger.
He's a workin' man who can earn his keep on the range all week and be a handsome dandy at the arena on a Sunday afternoon.
He's proud when he stands, looks lazy when he walks, but when he runs he can wipe the tears from the corner of your eyes and plaster your hat brim against the crown.
He's big in the haunches, supple in the withers, stout in the neck and wide across the chest.....to hold his big heart.
He's thunder and lightning between your knees and a poem in flight across the pasture.
He's cow-smart and brave, though sometimes a clown, and to the man with sky in his eye and mud on his boot,
the Driftwood Horse is a faithful hand....... And a Friend.
